Tariq
Akbar
Tariq Akbar is the CEO of LegalEase Solutions
LLC. He holds an undergraduate Engineering
Degree from Anna University, a top engineering
school in Asia, and a Masters Degree in Industrial
Engineering and Management Engineering from the
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York.
He has worked with General Electric, USA, Rockwell
Engineering, India, and Deloitte and Touche, USA
as a Management Consultant with a wide range of
experience on projects relating to business process
reengineering, outsourcing and management of offshore
resources. His industry experience covers Public
Sector, Financial Services, Health Care and Consumer
Business and spans three continents, including
North America, Europe and Asia. Mr.Akbar, has
been credited with certifications on Management
and Leadership from the Graduate School of Business,
Harvard University and was the founding partner
of NewMedco LLC, a sourcing company for medical
professionals.
Tariq
Hafeez, Esq.
Tariq Hafeez is a co-founder and the President of LegalEase Solutions LLC. He is a practicing Attorney who received his undergraduate and law degrees
from the University of Michigan. Tariq's legal experience spans corporate,
finance, real estate, litigation and criminal law. Tariq was previously an
associate at Dickinson Wright PLLC,a premier Detroit law firm and an
Assistant Attorney General with the State of Michigan. Tariq is also a
principle of Hafeez & Youssef PLLC, a Detroit area law firm.
Christopher
J. Crawford
Christopher J. Crawford is the Director of Legal Services for LegalEase Solutions LLC. He has a bachelor’s
degree from the State University of New York at
Stony Brook in English Literature and a law degree
from New York Law School. Christopher is licensed
to practice law in New York, Arizona and Michigan
as well as Federal District Court for the Southern
and Eastern Districts of New York. Christopher
has broad civil litigation experience in the areas
of insurance defense, insurance coverage, personal
injury, family law and appellate practice and
has over ninety published appellate decisions
in New York.
David Ashamalla
David Ashamalla is Vice President (Business Development) in Chicago for LegalEase Solutions LLC. He has a bachelor’s from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in Economics and a law degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago. David has worked in personal injury law in the Chicago market and was one of the first employees to help build the international brand Vitaminwater. David has broad civil litigation experience in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, and family law. During his time at the DePaul College of Law, he also worked on three capital cases for the Center for Justice in Capital Cases. At DePaul, David was a member of the International Law Society, as well as Phi Alpha Delta.
Neil Gandhi
Neil Gandhi is Vice President (Business Development) in New York for LegalEase
Solutions LLC.He has a B.A. in Economics and in History from New York
University and a J.D. from Fordham Law School. Neil is admitted to the
bar in New York and New Jersey. He has vast experience in securities
litigation and anti-trust law and has also previously worked in the
financial industry.
Rebecca S. Feldman
Rebecca S. Feldman is Vice President (Business Development) in the
Metro-Detroit area for LegalEase Solutions LLC. Rebecca received a BA
degree in International Relations from Michigan State University and a
Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Detroit Mercy School of
Law. She has extensive experience representing corporations, including
several Fortune 500 companies, in highly sophisticated transactions,
entailing complex contract mediations, real estate, zoning, and land use
matters. In addition, much of her career has also focused on work
involving several national telecommunication carriers.
Katherine Ladd Pearson, Esq
Kate Pearson is Vice President (Business Development) in Southern California
for LegalEase Solutions LLC. Kate earned her law degree at the University
of California, Berkeley (“Boalt Hall”) where she received the American
Jurisprudence award in Health Law and had the honor of working as a judicial
extern for Alex Kozinski, Chief Judge of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
She graduated in the top 5% of her class at Northwestern University, where
she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications and spent a year abroad
studying and working in China and Japan. She attended high school in
Germany, and later founded and operated a chain of integrative medicine
clinics in Australia. Given her extensive travels (including India), Kate
sees globalism and strategic outsourcing as vital for business success.
Prior to joining LegalEase, Kate practiced labor and employment litigation
(defense side) for several years, and continues to provide compliance
training and mediation services to employers.
